Futuristic Characters + Clean Up
I had some extra time so I cleaned them up.
Line art in Flash, coloured in PS.These characters go along with the Swamp City layout in this post.
Edit: I had to upload these without an explanation because of a fire drill. So, on with that!
In this future world, due to global warming, some higher power, fire ants or what have you, the average temperature of the planet has increased significantly. This has affected different species is different ways, some more dramatically than others. Quite a few have become extinct, while others have flourished. And other still have become insane, murderous kung fu masters and moved to the big city (or what's left of it)! Of the latter are the lovable koala bears.
Koalas have taken the title of "Species That Punches Other Species in the Face Most" away from Humanity, and has protected that title with an iron claw. Though one solitary koala (we'll call him Luke Skywalker) has chosen to allign himself with humanity, especially one little girl (Han Solo) to try to achieve peace in a broken (and very wet) world.

Meeps
Some people (you know who you are) told me to put something up on my blog besides my animations. So I'm giving in to your relentless harassment.
I chose a random sketch and decided to colour it. This was actually my first time colouring something completely in Flash, and it was somewhat difficult. I really don't like her right hand, but I spent about 1 billion years trying to make it not suck to not avail.

DIY, race politics and pretty ladies
So this is pretty much a quick info dump before I go see The Dark Knight on IMAX (Hells yes).
I took these a few days back, but I'm lazy so here they are now: DIY Light Table I've since gotten an actual animation disc, but it did the job.
Comic artist and illustrator Derek Kirk Kim wrote a post about the now infamous casting decision for the live action Avatar movie.
I got in contact with an old friend from high school via facebook recently. She has a gallery online (NSFW) and I felt obligated to share it after being blown away.
